ALL-STAR AGENCY is recruiting a Vice President, Treasury Operations for a leading bank in Hong Kong. The role will oversee daily transaction processing, settlement risk, and regulatory reporting while leading a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in treasury operations with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity, deep knowledge of treasury products, and experience with SWIFT, CHATS, and CMU, along with fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Economics or related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• 10+ years in treasury market operations with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of treasury products and operational processes, including settlements and regulatory reporting.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control daily treasury market operations to drive efficiency, accuracy, and excellence.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, monitoring performance to meet service standards.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management reports and regulatory submissions; support Head Office reporting.
• Manage settlement risk and resolve complex operational issues for smooth settlements.
• Approve system transactions and payments after verifying trade details with counterparties and ensuring completeness of documentation.
• Support Department Head in defining and achieving departmental objectives.
• Drive process optimization and strengthen internal risk controls; develop manuals and training.
• Lead new initiatives and special projects as assigned by leadership.
