Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited invites a senior treasury operations leader to drive efficiency and risk control in a premier global banking environment in Hong Kong. You will oversee daily market settlements, regulatory reporting obligations, and mentor a regional team, while championing automation initiatives using VBA and Python.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and interface with regional management to define departmental objectives and strengthen risk controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in treasury market operations with at least 5 years in supervisory/people management.
• Degree holder in Banking, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong technical treasury product knowledge: IRS, Cross Currency Swaps, Debt Capital Markets.
• Deep understanding of settlement infrastructure: SWIFT, CHATS, CMU, HKD Exchange Fund Bills & Bonds.
• Familiarity with OTC Derivatives Repo and HKMA regulatory reporting obligations.
• Experience with VBA and Python for process improvement.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, written and spoken.

• Monitor settlement risks, troubleshoot irregularities and resolve exceptions.

• Lead transformation projects and automation using VBA and Python.
• Assist the Group Head in defining and executing departmental objectives.

• Review and confirm the accuracy of operational and regulatory reports for senior management, local authorities, and Head Office.

Skills & experiences required

• Degree holder in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury market operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/people management role.
• Strong technical expertise in treasury products, including Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, and Debt Capital Markets.
• In-depth knowledge of settlement infrastructure including SWIFT, CHATS, CMU, and securities settlement (e.g., HKD Exchange Fund Bills and Bonds).
• Solid understanding of global settlement practices and regulatory frameworks, including OTC Derivatives Transaction Repository reporting and HKMA regulatory reporting obligations.
• Practical familiarity or working knowledge of VBA and Python for process improvement and data analysis.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient command of written and spoken English and Chinese
