Job summary

The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) is seeking a Manager (Support Services) in Hong Kong to lead training consultancy activities, interview clients, analyse skills development and advise on ERB courses and career options. The role also plans digital development initiatives and online tools to aid skills advancement.

The successful candidate will build networks with training bodies and NGOs, provide information and counselling in workshops, and perform related duties.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Social Work, Counselling or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years' post-degree work experience.
• At least 2 years at managerial level.
• Experience in training and career counselling is preferred.
• Knowledge of labour market and employment services is advantageous.
• Familiar with HK legislation and government/public body work is an advantage.
• Proactive, responsive and service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Provide training consultancy through client interviews and skills analysis.
• Offer personalised advice on ERB courses and career options.
• Plan and implement digital development initiatives for consultancy services.
• Build networks with training bodies, community centres and NGOs.
• Deliver training information and counselling in workshops and events.
