Job summary

Tamco Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a highly experienced Toy Engineer to drive end-to-end manufacturing for major US retailers. You will bridge overseas clients and Asia factories, own sourcing, QC, and timely shipments with travel to supplier sites and reporting to senior management.

Candidates should have 8+ years in toy engineering, hands-on knowledge of materials and tooling, and fluent English plus Cantonese/Mandarin for factory communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of dedicated engineering and production experience in the toy industry.
• Direct experience handling high-volume orders for US retailers (Target, Walmart).
• Strong knowledge of plastics, injection molding, metals, foams, paints, fabrics.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot on the factory floor and implement solutions.
• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier sites in China.
• Fluent English; Cantonese and Mandarin for factory communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End sourcing and factory identification for toys.
• Lead product and tooling development lifecycles with suppliers.
• Champion quality control from development to shipment.
• Coordinate with US clients to meet market expectations.
• Track production quality and ensure on-time shipments.
• Provide daily updates to senior management.
