MTR Corporation is seeking a Senior Technician in the Infrastructure Maintenance Team (Power Distribution) in Hong Kong. The role leads frontline staff to maintain and renew HV/OHL/traction power systems, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, and performing authorisation duties when required.

The successful candidate will manage planned maintenance, supervise replacement works, and coordinate with other teams while adhering to shift requirements and weather/emergency conditions.

Competenze

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in railway electrification systems, 1 year at supervisory level.
• Possession of Grade "H" Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a Hong Kong driving license (Class 1 and 2) preferred.

• Lead a team of frontline technical staff to execute maintenance, service recovery and renewal & modification works of HV/OHL/traction power systems up to 25kV/1500V/750V and related LV systems.
• Assist in planning related maintenance work orders and ensure activities comply with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Ensure high quality replacement works and implement all protection measures for safety.
• Carry out overhead line isolations for other parties to ensure safety on electrified tracks.
• Perform duties as an Authorised / Nominated Person.

• Lead a team of frontline technical staff to execute maintenance, service recovery and renewal & modification works of high voltage (HV) / overhead line (OHL) / traction power systems, up to and including 25kV / 1500V / 750V traction, 33kV / 11kV /3.3kV three-phase AC power supply systems, low voltage (LV) distribution and trackside auxiliary equipment, as well as HV and LV asset replacement works, testing and commissioning
  
• Assist in planning related maintenance work orders and execute the maintenance activities with high standard and in compliance with corporate and statutory requirements
  
• Assure a high quality of assigned replacement works and execute all protection measures to ensure the work is executed safely
  
• Carry out overhead line isolations for other parties to ensure work safety on electrified tracks
  
• Perform duties as an Authorised / Nominated Person

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  
• A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in railway electrification systems, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level
  
• Possession of Grade "H" Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a valid Hong Kong driving license class 1 and 2 are preferred

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
