Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a frontline technical team in maintenance, service recovery and renewal works for HV/OHL/traction systems, including high voltage 25kV and 750V tracks. The role covers planning, safety, and asset replacement, with testing and commissioning responsibilities.

The candidate should have a Higher Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, at least 4 years in railway electrification, and a Grade H Electrical Worker certificate

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in railway electrification systems, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Possession of Grade "H" Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a valid Hong Kong driving license class 1 and 2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontline technical staff to execute maintenance, service recovery and renewal & modification works of HV/OHL/traction systems, up to 25kV/1500V/750V and LV trackside equipment, plus asset replacement, testing and commissioning.
• Assist in planning related maintenance work orders and ensure activities meet high standards and comply with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Ensure quality of replacement works and implement protection measures to ensure safe execution.
• Carry out overhead line isolations for other parties to ensure work safety on electrified tracks.
• Perform duties as an Authorised / Nominated Person.
