Job summary

OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior IT leader to drive end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure and technology transformation programmes in a regulated banking environment. You will oversee data centre, virtualization, network, DR, and cloud platform initiatives, aligning with enterprise architecture and vendors.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, control scope, timelines and budgets, while maintaining strict governance, security and SDLC practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with extensive experience managing complex technical projects/programmes.
  • Strong experience in infrastructure and platform delivery (data centre, virtualization, network, DR, platform services).
  • Hands-on exposure or strong understanding of modern technology platforms, such as: Cloud (private / hybrid / public) and cloud-native architecture.
  • Container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes / OpenShift)
  • Middleware and integration (Kafka, API/Microservices)
  • DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Proven experience in banking or highly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC)

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of large-scale infrastructure and platform projects (compute, network, virtualization, middleware, DR, cloud platforms)
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and track project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, application, security, and operations
  • Collaborate with Group architecture teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and modern technology standards
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and external partners to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Drive risk and issue management with timely escalation and resolution
  • Provide clear status reporting and steering materials for senior management

Requirements
