Job summary

HKEX Listing Systems team is seeking a motivated and energetic System Development Manager to join us. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of modern web applications used by all the listed companies.

You will be responsible for production support, SDLC leadership, and collaboration with IT, business users, and external vendors to ensure robust, secure and scalable solutions in a regulated

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years of solid IT experience with mission-critical applications.
• Experience in regulated/compliance-driven environments.
• Hands-on development with Java, JavaScript, .Net, Oracle/SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows servers, microservices, containers and cloud tech.
• Familiar with DevOps tools such as Maven, Git, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

Listing Systems team is responsible for the design and implementation of all of our applications systems for our Listing Division. We are now hiring a motivated and energetic System Development Manager to join us.

You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of modern web applications used by all the listed companies.

Job Duties:

• Production support and enhancement of mission critical web and cloud application systems
• Manage and participate in activities of whole SDLC phases, from requirement analysis, design, documentation, system development, testing, deployment to support
• Plan and perform regular system maintenance support tasks such as technology refreshment, system performance monitoring and review, vulnerability management, production incident resolution
• Lead and coach junior team members
• Liaise with other IT teams, business users and external vendors

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
• Minimum of 8 years of solid IT experience, with a strong focus on supporting and maintaining mission-critical business applications
• Experience in application operations and support within highly regulated and compliance-driven environments
• Hands-on application development experience using Java, Javascript, .Net framework, Oracle database/SQL Servers
• Good knowledge and experience with Redhat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server and web technologies
• Strong understanding in microservice architecture, container-based application design and cloud technologies
• Familiar with software development and DevOps tools, including Maven, GIT, Jenkins, dockers and Kubernetes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong team player with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
