Job summary

PCCW is seeking a Senior Developer in Hong Kong to design, develop, support, and enhance enterprise applications. You will drive Agile delivery, technical solution design, system integration, and release governance. Hands-on with Oracle, Control‑M, and event-driven architectures is essential.

You will mentor junior developers, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Event Broker or messaging platforms.
• Experience in Control‑M job scheduling and batch processing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications and system integrations.
• Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Review deployment packages and enforce deployment procedures and release governance.
• Support deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
