Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Developer/System Analyst to join a large-scale, multi-year transformation of a securities settlement and custody platform into an international depository servicing 47 markets. The role focuses on implementation, integration, and connectivity with external post-trade and vendor systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in development, system analysis, or related technology roles.
• Experience with post-trade systems and securities services.
• Hands-on with SFTP/FTP, MQ, and API integration.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, and Linux/Unix scripting.
• Understanding of financial markets and securities processing workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent Cantonese and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and enhancement of post-trade and securities services platforms.
• Design and manage system integrations with external vendors, counterparties, and market infrastructure providers.
• Establish and support connectivity solutions, including file transfer and messaging platforms.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful system delivery and integration.
• Manage vendor solutions and oversee technical implementation activities.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and incident management across application environments.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, system specifications, and integration requirements.
