Job summary

Leadingnation seeks a senior trader to lead risk-aware strategy for rates products across Asia. You will develop pricing, hedge risks, and drive revenue growth in collaboration with Sales, Structuring and other trading teams.

The role emphasizes governance, regulatory conduct, and embedding risk controls while expanding the product offering through new models. You will partner with global Market centres and senior stakeholders to deliver the annual budget.

Qualifications

• Master of Finance - Financial Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in trading structured rates products, preferably in Asia.
• Project and time management skills to monitor multiple workstreams and take ownership of issues / tasks.
• Ability to work in a team and diverse work environment.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Experience of working with and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Flexible and resilient mindset to deal with a dynamic and quick-to-change setting.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: Work to implement the strategy of the desk for profitable trading at acceptable risk.
• Business: Collaborate with Sales, Structuring and other trading teams to maximise revenues and meet the budget; provide accurate pricing for rates derivatives.
• Transact trades to hedge risk and generate revenues; expand product offering with new trading models.
• Risk & Governance: Manage portfolio risk within approved limits and maintain governance and controls.
• Regulatory & Conduct: Adhere to regulations and uphold the group conduct standards.
