Job summary

State Street in Hong Kong seeks a senior solutions-driven sales lead with broad solutioning across segments and deep knowledge of Global Alternatives. This individual contributor role spans commercial, product and delivery to shape opportunity structuring and commercialization.

You will align IS sales with core custody, accounting, fund administration and servicing to alternatives assets, including private equity/credit and real assets, driving cross-selling and executive engagement in APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• At least 10 years experience in asset servicing and asset management in an origination and/or product solutioning capacity.
• Strong sales and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a good understanding of all State Street products and services across the Alpha platform spanning both Private and Public markets.
• Develop and stay current with State Street strengths that differentiate us from the competition (especially as it relates to State Street Alpha).
• Keep abreast of industry initiatives & emerging trends.
• Maintain an understanding of Alternatives asset strategies of Asset Owners and Asset Managers servicing their core servicing requirements.
• Develop, agree and implement strategic client account plans working closely with other departments within IS and the rest of STT to position our Alternatives servicing pipeline.
• Have direct responsibility for all aspects of the commercial, strategic and contractual discussion with prospective clients and current client growth opportunities.
• Working closely with global teams/SMEs to drive solution design.
• Partner with the implementation team to ensure we can execute against commitments.
• Develop and deepen staff awareness of our APAC Alternatives pipeline.
• Coordinate with all other areas of State Street to create cross selling opportunities for the firm.
• Assist the Senior Executive Officer team in developing and maintaining an executive calling program for SSBT executives.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and targets appropriate individuals in client organizations.
• Introduce and support product sales (GM) specialists as needed.
• Facilitate cross divisional resolution of business line conflicts elevate issues to next level of executive management as appropriate.
• Collaborate with sales originators to foster a coordinated solutioning effort.
