Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Hong Kong seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable technology products within Securities Services.

You will lead a software engineering team, collaborate with Leads and Architects, and promote best practices in AI integration and operational stability. Strong Java Spring Boot capability and cloud-native experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 8+ years of applied experience.
• Proficient in one or more object-oriented languages, notably Java 17+ with Spring Boot.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security within Agile teams.
• Experience building enterprise-grade, highly available back-end services using Java and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production code.
• Optimize back-end applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor a software engineering team to deliver mission-critical projects.
• Drive adoption of best practices in software development and AI integration.
