Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets and Equity Market Microstructure.
• Strong knowledge of electronic trading workflows across pre-trade analytics, signal generation, execution algorithms and post-trade analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (or Java) with experience of working on large scale event driven systems.
• Ability to translate business and quant requirements into scalable target architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted software development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality Python code for front-office Technology Systems.
• Collaborate with Traders and Quant Researchers to deliver solutions that enhance trading workflows.
• Create alignment with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness of new technologies.
