Job summary

Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Back Office Settlement Specialist to perform and supervise daily settlement activities for securities, bonds, and funds, including IPOs, corporate actions, and transfers. You will liaise with front office, brokers and external parties to resolve issues and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Candidates should have a Bachelor degree, 5–8 years of banking experience, strong knowledge of CCASS / EC Invest / MorningStar /

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree holder in Business Administration or Operations Management or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of related banking/financial experience.
• Sound knowledge of CCASS / EC Invest / MorningStar / Winvest.
• Experience with Euroclear / Clearstream / CMU / SWIFT is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel / VBA / Access).
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Able to work independently and under pressure; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise daily back office settlement activities for securities, bonds, funds, IPOs, placements and corporate actions.
• Liaise with front office, brokers and external parties to resolve settlement-related issues.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to minimize risk.
• Ensure smooth daily settlement processes and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in system implementation, UAT and ad-hoc projects, including workflow design and testing.
