Responsibilities
- Manage daily settlement and corporate actions for cash equities including HK and US stock markets.
- Manage settlement and corporate actions for investment products, such as bond, ELN and ELI.
- Manage fund transfer between correspondent banks by approving instructions and liaising with related parties.
- Liaise with external counterparties and internal departments to resolve any trade mismatch, failed settlement, reconciliation break or exceptional case.
- Participate in system enhancements by providing user requirements and reviewing UAT results.
- Optimize and streamline procedures to increase the efficiency and control.
- Review relevant internal documents including guidelines and procedure manuals.
- Perform any ad-hoc duty and project as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in related disciplines, such as finance, accounting or business.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in securities operations is preferred.
- Sound knowledge in HK and US stock markets is an advantage.
- Familiar with CCASS operations is preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
- Attention to details, responsible, independent and self-motivated.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Deputy Manager, Securities Settlement.
The above post requires proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
