Job summary

AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Security Officer in IT Security to lead security initiatives, monitor threats, and coordinate with vendors. The role covers security system establishment, project planning, and incident response.

A Bachelor’s degree in CS and 2+ years in IT security are required, with certifications such as CCNA/MCP considered an advantage. Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred; familiarity with AWS/Azure and security products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT or IT security project development.
• Holder of IT security related professional certifications such as CCNA / MCP/ CIS/ NIST, etc. are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with international security products or platforms (PAM, End-point security, WAF, DLP, etc.) is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Assist in security-related projects including system establishment, planning and vendor communications.
• Monitor security alerts and cyber threats; elevate incidents per procedures.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports and dashboards (Power BI).
• Maintain security policies and configurations (proxy, etc.) per international standards.
• Support OS EOL remediation and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior team members in supporting security related project such as security system establishment, maintain, project planning and vendor communications, Monitor security alerts and potential cyber threats and elevate incidents in accordance with defined procedures, follow-up of security incidents assessment results, action plans, and remediation progress and activities.

Routine Operations

• Support the preparation, maintenance, and distribution of cybersecurity reports and dashboards using Power BI.

• Familiar international security brand or product and system administration i.e. endpoint control, proxy, WAF, OTP and FIM.

• Familiar AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Assist with the enhancement and firmware system upgrade.

• Provide coordination and operational support for operating-system end-of-life (EOL) remediation and upgrade projects.

• Maintain and update security policies and related configurations, including internet proxy policies, in accordance with approved international standards.

• Assist with the key/certificate-signing process and key/certification management lifecycle coordination.

• Perform day-to-day system health checking.

• Conduct regular reviews of credentials used for security devices and follow up with relevant teams on required updates or remediation actions.

• Experience and basic knowledge of various operation architecture, such as Networking, Windows AD, Linux and Cloud platform are preferable.

IT Security Projects

• Participate in security solution testing, user acceptance testing, and validation activities to confirm that project requirements are met.

• Assist in delivering cybersecurity training and awareness activities for employees.

• Prepare, maintain, and review IT security project documentation periodically.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in IT or IT security Project development.

• Holder of IT security related professional certifications such as CCNA / MCP/ CIS/ NIST, etc. are an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

• Experience in international security product or platform i.e. PAM system/ End-point security / WaterMark/ DLP system / WAF/ Data Discovering System is an advantage.

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
