Job summary

JETCO seeks an experienced Information Security leader to drive a comprehensive security programme in a banking context, shaping strategy, policies and training while engaging directly with clients to meet security requirements.

You will stay ahead of laws and best practices, collaborate with vendors, oversee IT security in projects, and mentor a team while representing the company at security conferences and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
• 15+ years of IT security design and implementation experience.
• Banking or financial industry experience preferred.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA/CISM required.
• Demonstrated proficient decision making, analytical and problem solving ability.
• Excellent communications in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage information security initiatives.
• Maintain and drive comprehensive information security programme, deliver security strategy, policies, procedures, communications and training.
• Responsible for direct client-facing engagement in the banking sector related to information security domain and initiatives
• Stay abreast of the latest information security laws, regulations, and best practices and provide security solutions, strategies and oversight to meet the requirements
• Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with security vendors and organizations, and represent the Company at security conferences/events as required
• Acting in accordance with the Security Management System and Policy to manage all aspects of personnel, physical, production and IT security
• Support business and product team during the sales process to engage key internal and external stakeholders to provide critical perspective and guidance on delivery strategies to meet security requirements
• Participate in new IT projects or solution implementation to advise on the IT security requirements and ensure they are being put in place prior to live implementation
• Advanced knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current information security landscape
• Knowledgeable in latest trend of security products, evaluate and adopt suitable products for the enterprise to meet security requirements
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a bachelor degree or above in relevant discipline
• At least 15 years of experience on IT security design and implementation
• Experience in banking or financial industry is preferred
• Professional Certification such as CISSP, CISA/CISM or other security certification/accreditation is a must
• Demonstrated proficient decision making skills, analytical and problem solving ability
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multi-tasks, balancing competing priorities and work under pressure
• Exemplary leadership, mentoring, and team building skills
• Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written English and Chinese) are required
