Job summary

CLP in Hong Kong is seeking an energetic and innovative engineering professional to join our Sales & Partnership Branch. You will lead sales initiatives, coordinate customer meetings, and develop proposals to close deals.

The role requires a university degree and at least five years in sales and marketing, with preference for energy sector experience. You will evaluate performance, source new smart solutions, and drive go-to-market strategies to grow revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing in a related field.
• Experience in energy business is an added advantage.
• Solid knowledge of new smart solutions/products and energy management concepts.
• Strong track record in establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating marketing plans and conducting ROI analyses.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales action programs to achieve targeted sales and coordinate customer meetings; prepare quotations and close deals.
• Evaluate sales performance and cost effectiveness; review project proposals and identify improvement areas; maintain sales processes and standards.
• Identify, evaluate and source new smart solutions to expand the product offering.
• Lead POC, system integration and performance testing to assess viability and scalability.
• Prepare structured evaluation, validation, and recommendation materials to support decisions.
• Meet customers and conduct site visits; identify opportunities and grow revenue.
• Collaborate with CLP Innovation, vendors and third parties to sharpen products and services for customers.
• Formulate go-to-market sales strategy; maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast to boost profitability.
• Ensure order fulfilment and review post-sales services; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Design and prepare sales/marketing materials and complete sales administration to pitch customers.
• Monitor market intelligence and manage customer expectations and inquiries professionally.
