Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is seeking a senior operations leader to serve as the Deputy to the Regional Head, shaping strategy and resource planning for a global technology firm.

You will manage a team of infrastructure managers, oversee headcount, shifts, and operational health while ensuring alignment across all tiers of the local team. A strong focus on root-cause analysis and capacity planning is essential to sustain a large, complex environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management experience, leading other managers or senior technical leads.
• Absolute fluency in Cantonese and English to bridge local teams with regional leadership.
• Strong operational background in enterprise IT infrastructure or data centers.
• An inward-facing leader focused on building team culture, not sales or BD.

The Role & Landscape:

• Act as the functional Deputy to the Regional Head, driving organizational strategy and resource planning.
• Manage a team of specialized infrastructure managers, overseeing headcount, shift schedules, and operational health.

• Investigate and guide teams through complex technical root-cause analysis when infrastructure incidents occur.

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of direct people management experience, specifically leading other managers or senior technical leads.
• Absolute fluency in Cantonese and English to effectively bridge local engineering teams with regional leadership.
• Strong operational background in enterprise IT infrastructure or data centers (candidates with a rigorous Banking/Finance infrastructure background are highly encouraged to apply).
• An inward-facing leader who thrives on building team culture, rather than an outward-facing sales or business development executive.
