Job summary

Rise Associates Asia Limited is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor Manager or Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our Hong Kong team. You will oversee the QS function across multiple building projects, manage cost estimates, and ensure robust budgeting and contract compliance.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in main contractor environments, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency with QS software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within a main contractor environment.
• Experience in managing building projects; hospital projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage quantity surveying for multiple building projects, ensuring cost management and budgeting.
• Prepare and analyze project cost estimates including labor, materials, and overheads.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and adjust budget forecasts as needed.
• Prepare tender documents and conduct cost evaluations for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide cost-control strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for updates and inquiries.
• Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors.
