Job summary

Rise Associates Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the project team. The successful candidate will manage commercial and contractual aspects of building projects, ensuring cost control and profitability.

You should have 8-10 years' experience with a main contractor, a degree in QS or related field, solid GCC contract knowledge, and proven skills in claims management, procurement, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of quantity surveying experience with main contractor.
• Proven track record in building construction projects.
• Strong GCC contract knowledge.
• Experience in claims management (preparation, assessment, negotiation, settlement).
• Experience in cost control, procurement, and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QS software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned building projects.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontract agreements, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget performance.
• Certify subcontractor payments through valuation.
• Prepare, assess, and negotiate variation claims and EOT submissions.
• Administer contracts under GCC and other contract conditions.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial risks.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
• Support project teams in contractual matters and dispute avoidance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior quantity surveying staff.
