Job summary

Currie & Brown in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects from pre-contract through final account settlement. You will deliver cost plans, tender documents, and contract administration while leading junior staff.

The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects within a global consultancy.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' technical delivery experience in global construction consultancy.
Bachelor's degree in construction-related disciplines or equivalent.
Proficient in English and Chinese; strong communication skills.
Ability to lead projects independently and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

Deliver quantity surveying services including cost plans and tender documents, handling contract administration, sub-letting and final accounts.
Formulate tender strategies, conduct tender analysis and bidding.
Monitor cashflow and certify payments and variations.
Prepare material take-off documents, pricing, drawings measurements and checks for tender material.
Adhere to QA standards and company best practices.
Lead and coach junior staff.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders; build strong relationships.
Attend site inspections and client meetings; present tender interviews when required.
