Job summary

Point72 is seeking a senior quantitative developer for its Internal Alpha Capture (IAC) team in Hong Kong. You will help develop automated equities trading applications and real-time analytics, while optimizing data pipelines and databases.

You will collaborate with quant researchers, enhance trading tools infrastructure, and contribute production-grade code with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, machine learning, or other quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience at a hedge fund, major investment bank, or quantitative trading firm.
• Proficiency in Python with production-quality coding.
• Experience with Docker and container/orchestration tools.
• Unix environment and shell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of profiling tools and code optimization.
• Knowledge of statistics and machine learning is a plus.
• Willing to take ownership and work independently in a small team.
• Finance industry experience is a plus.
• Strong ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Developing automated equities trading applications and real-time analytics.
