Job summary

Point72 Internal Alpha Capture (IAC) is building scalable quantitative equity trading signals using rigorous research, state-of-the-art machine learning methods, and a breadth of data sources.

You will gain exposure to developing automated equities trading applications and real-time analytics, optimizing data pipelines, and improving research tools infrastructure.

Strong Python production-quality coding, Docker experience, Unix shell scripting, and a quantitative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hedge funds or quantitative trading.
• Strong Python production-grade coding skills.
• Experience with Docker or containerization is a plus.
• Willing to take ownership and work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated equities trading applications and real-time analytics.
• Optimize data ETL pipelines, persistent / in-memory caches and SQL databases.
• Improve signal research and trading tools infrastructure.
• Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team to deliver impactful results.
