Job summary

Point72 is seeking exceptional machine learning researchers to join Internal Alpha Capture (IAC). You will apply the breadth of ML knowledge to proprietary datasets to develop novel trading signals with high impact.

Researchers will work closely with experienced team members and apply rigorous research methods to real-time data. Prior experience in finance is not required, and collaboration with a fast-growing team will be essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ML/CS or related field.
• Experience with ML over large datasets and noisy data preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the research process from ideation to evaluation and application.
• Identify, adapt, and extend models to develop new trading signals for higher portfolio returns.
• Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advances and advise on new models and tools.
