Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a senior developer to design, build, and maintain a core analytics component for real-time risk and bet value assessment in the new generation betting system. You will oversee an offshore development team in SZ and collaborate with vendor delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline; Master preferred
• 8+ years hands-on development experience on MS platform
• 2+ years Solace development
• 5+ years C# development
• Experience managing offshore team
• Experience in large development teams
• Experience working with Vendor delivery teams
• Knowledge: C#, Java, C++, ASP.NET, JavaScript
• Knowledge: Python, R Studio, MSSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Microservice

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and support the data analytic system using Solace messaging and C#
• Design, enhance, develop and maintain Solace messaging to support new/changed requirements
• Ensure the quality of the deliverables
• Contribute to architecture of messaging framework via Solace
• Work with Vendor delivery teams to support their delivery
• Liaise with other development teams and stakeholders to fulfill user requirements
• Deploy Machine Learning/AI methodology to perform data analysis
• Perform real-time data analytics on the new analytic platform
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and legal wagering requirements
• Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor
