Job summary

Star Industrial Co Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Quality Control Officer to inspect production lines, approve products at pre-production, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will inspect raw materials, conduct audits, collaborate with production and engineering, organize testing and calibration, analyze data, and handle customer complaints and returns, with ISO knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Science, Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
• 3 - 5 years of proven experience in quality control. Ideally in plastic ware.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Also, with knowledge of ISO system and documentation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of in-house production lines for product safety and quality.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, packaging materials, etc. to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
• Conduct product and process audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Follow up on results.
• Organize and prepare for product testing and tool calibration, both internally and externally.
• Analyze quality data and produce reports for management regularly. Maintain records, documentation, and archives according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle customer complaints and goods return.
• Handle Ad-hoc task assigned by management.
