Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality strategy for protective headgear and eyewear. You will set quality objectives, establish inspection protocols, and track KPIs across suppliers and manufacturing sites.

You will conduct factory audits, drive CAPAs with suppliers, collaborate with product development, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Travel across Asia will be required to support supplier management and factory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Materials Science or related discipline.
• Min 5 years of quality management experience within protective equipment, sporting goods, automotive components, safety products, or technically engineered consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quality management strategies for protective equipment and related product categories.
• Establish quality objectives, inspection protocols, KPI tracking, and performance metrics across suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Ensure alignment of quality standards throughout development, validation, and mass production stages.
• Lead supplier quality performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the vendor base.
• Conduct factory assessments and process audits to evaluate manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and production controls.
• Partner with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions that improve product consistency and reduce quality risks.
• Support supplier qualification and onboarding activities for new manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with product development and engineering teams during new product introductions.
• Review manufacturing readiness, tooling, materials, testing requirements, and process capabilities before commercialization.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks associated with materials, components, production processes, and supply chain changes.
• Support validation testing and ensure compliance with product performance and safety requirements.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process from incoming materials through final inspection.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive timely resolution of production issues.
• Ensure robust inspection procedures and quality checkpoints are implemented across all stages of production.
• Provide regular reporting on quality performance, key risks, and improvement plans to leadership teams.
