Job summary

IO Tech Solutions Limited seeks a skilled software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable risk platforms and valuation engines using Python. You will implement production-grade models and interfaces, craft robust REST APIs, and optimize data pipelines for large financial datasets.

The role requires 4+ years in financial services, strong Python, SQL, and backend framework experience, plus Git/CI/CD and testing. HK/SG applicants welcome, onsite work in Hong Kong or Singapore is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in financial services (investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management).
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with clean, modular, and performant code.
• Strong knowledge of SQL relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and handling large datasets.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and writing comprehensive unit tests.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks (FastAPI or Flask) and performance optimization techniques.
• Open to both Hong Kong and Singapore applicants.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable risk platforms and valuation engines using Python.
• Develop robust REST APIs to interface with internal scenario engines.
• Translate complex risk models into production libraries and scalable code.
• Create automated ETL workflows for massive financial datasets and real-time data.
• Write optimized SQL queries and manage transactional/historical data layers.
• Collaborate with business, risk managers, and quants to turn risk workflows into technical requirements.
