IO Tech Solutions Limited is seeking a Python / AI Platform Engineer to join our backend team in a hybrid role in Hong Kong. You will build robust trading infrastructure and lead AI-powered automation initiatives across the firm, with responsibilities spanning data pipelines, LLM tooling, and production-grade services.

The ideal candidate has strong Python backend skills, experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, and hands-on work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend development experience with production-grade code.
• Excellent SQL and schema design for complex data processing.
• Linux environment proficiency with shell scripting.
• Proven data pipeline, workflow scheduler, or ETL experience.
• Architectural thinking focused on scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build Intelligent Agents powered by LLMs.
• Orchestrate complex workflows with tool calling and automation.
• Deploy RAG pipelines for internal knowledge retrieval.
• Own the LLM stack: prompts, embeddings, vector DBs, model APIs, outputs.
• Design core Python backend services powering trading, risk, reconciliation, and automation.
• Build high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines and schedulers.
• Optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for high concurrency.
• Create automated reporting, monitoring dashboards, and analytics.
• Troubleshoot production data issues and performance bottlenecks.
