Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Python developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise applications, aligning with established standards and guiding features from the Product team.

You will contribute in an Agile/DevOps environment, own Python components, and deepen knowledge of financial product workflows to support ongoing development and analytics reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience designing and building enterprise applications.
• Strong Python skills, with experience in Django or FastAPI and Pandas or Polars.
• Good understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, HTTP connectivity, and data structures such as relational databases and JSON.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, including machine learning and LLMs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn financial products and business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with the Product team to design and deliver new features and services.
• Contribute to software development in an Agile and DevOps environment.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Take ownership of Python-based components, including lifecycle event management, booking modules, and analytics reporting.
• Develop an understanding of the platform's business functionality and financial product workflows to support ongoing development and enhancement.
