Westbury Partners is seeking a highly analytical Python engineer to design and build scalable applications for complex infrastructure. You will collaborate with global engineering teams, translate requirements into reliable software, and contribute across the full SDLC in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You'll work with Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, and modern frameworks (Django, Flask, Dash, React) to deliver robust infrastructure tooling and applications for internal users.

Build scalable Python applications that simplify complex infrastructure, collaborating globally across engineering teams to design reliable solutions, improve systems, and solve challenging real-world technical problems.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications supporting complex infrastructure and internal users.
• Collaborate directly with users to understand requirements and translate business and technical needs into practical software solutions.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system architecture to coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Work alongside sysadmins, network engineers, and other technical specialists to solve critical infrastructure challenges.
• Develop and enhance back-end and front-end applications using technologies such as Python, Go, Django, Flask, Dash, and React.
• Work with modern infrastructure and data technologies, including Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, and high-performance data stores.
• Participate in Agile development practices with an emphasis on collaboration, shared code ownership, testing, and rapid iteration.
• Take on additional responsibilities and technical challenges as required.
