Job summary

Westbury Partners is seeking a highly analytical Python engineer to design and build scalable applications for complex infrastructure. You will collaborate with global engineering teams, translate requirements into reliable software, and contribute across the full SDLC in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You'll work with Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, and modern frameworks (Django, Flask, Dash, React) to deliver robust infrastructure tooling and applications for internal users.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience and Linux administration knowledge.
• Experience designing, developing, and testing scalable Python applications.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Collaborate with users to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Contribute across the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Work with sysadmins, network engineers, and other technical specialists.
• Develop back-end and front-end using Python, Go, Django, Flask, Dash, React.
• Utilize Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL and high-performance data stores.
• Able to work in Agile teams with shared code ownership and testing.
