China Harbour Engineering Co Ltd. is seeking an experienced professional for public affairs and community relations within our works projects in Hong Kong.

The role includes managing enquiries, preparing communications, and supporting crisis management initiatives across multiple forums and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in public relations and community engagement, with strong Chinese and English writing skills, plus Cantonese.

Formación

• University degree in communication, public relations or related disciplines; exceptions possible with extensive relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Handle public enquiries and complaints.
• Prepare press materials and monthly newsletters for the works project.
• Prepare presentation materials and attend public consultation forums.
• Liaise with the general public.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, project brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, etc. for the Project Manager.
• Working Location: Kwun Tong / Aberdeen.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle public enquiries andcomplains;

• Liaise with thegeneral public;

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, project brochures, fact sheets, newsletter, etc to the satisfaction of the Project Manager.

• Working Location: Kwun tong / Aberdeen

Job Requirements:

• A university degree in communication, public relations or related disciplines – at the discretion of the Project Manager, candidate who does not meet the above minimum academic requirement may also be considered if he / she has extensive relevant experience in lieu;

• A minimum of 12 years of hands‑on experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, corporate communications and crisis management;

• Experience in community relations and dealing with District Council;

• Well‑versed in MS office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Chinese word processing;

• Proficient in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;

• Proficient in written English and Chinese; and

• Good inter‑personal and management skills.

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Public Relations Officer.
