Job summary

CLSA is seeking a seasoned BA/PM in Hong Kong to drive market connectivity, cash equities, and program trading initiatives. You will partner with Asia-based sales and traders, translating business needs into IT tasks, and lead cross-functional project delivery across global teams.

You will manage BRDs, lead requirements gathering, ensure BRD sign-offs with Compliance and Sales, and guide UAT and go-live readiness. Strong communication and banking/domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

15 years of banking/finance experience with securities trading and IT project management.
Knowledge of Cash Equities and Capital Markets; 5+ years in BA/PM.
Knowledge of Trading System architecture and FIX protocol.

Responsibilities

Achieve Market connectivity, Cash Equities and Program trading business plan.
Build relationships with Asia-based sales/traders and translate requirements into IT tasks.
Drive projects across global IT teams and coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Audit.
Develop budgets, track finance, and control costs.
Provide day-to-day system support during go-live periods.
Collect requirements and prepare BRD; obtain sign-off from business stakeholders.
Outline project schedules with QA, Development, Infrastructure, Support and Business.
Ensure product matches BRD and perform UAT with users.
Oversee BAU priorities for trading systems like Viper, Liquid, Cobra, Python, Fuse/Blaze.
Review business test cases and conduct feature tests.
Hand-hold UAT and train new users.
Prepare change tickets and defend them during CAB/go-live reviews.
Run governance meetings and manage L3 support.
