Job summary

Base Camp Digital in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives within our Business Banking CRM program, leading cross-functional teams and partnering with business and functional stakeholders.

You will manage risks, issues and dependencies, ensure governance, and support Agile delivery to achieve on-time, on-budget outcomes. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in project management in banking or finance and strong English and Chinese communication.

Senior Project Manager

Based in Hong Kong

1 Year Contract (Highly Renewable)

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives within our client's Business Banking CRM team. The role will partner closely with business and functional stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams through project delivery and organizational change. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies, while ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and project governance. The ideal candidate has strong IT project delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management and buy-in skills, and is comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale IT projects, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline and budget.
• Actively monitor project scope, resources, schedules and budgets, taking corrective action where required.
• Work closely with business users, Operations, IT, Audit, Legal, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure effective project governance.
• Partner with business functions to support project prioritization and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
• Oversee overall project budget management, resource planning and prioritization.
• Lead comprehensive change impact and adoption assessments to ensure business readiness following implementation.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing delivery culture.
• Drive effective communication across internal and external stakeholders and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Agile ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products and banking operations.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale IT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and secure buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong experience in project governance, risk management, resource allocation and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges, solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong ownership, accountability and a service-oriented mindset.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
