Job summary

NEXUS CORPORATION is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives for the AMH Business Banking CRM team. You will partner with business and functional stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams through change, managing risks and dependencies in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT project delivery experience and strong buy-in skills across a wide range of stakeholders, including English and Chinese speakers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT project management experience with knowledge of business banking products and bank operations.
• Strong English and Chinese communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering medium-to-large-scale projects as a project manager.
• Ability to navigate challenges, craft innovative solutions, and work in an agile environment.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build connections across teams.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and commitment to efficient customer service processes.
• Experience in SAFe or agile environments; Scrum Master experience is a plus.

• Actively monitor the project scope and resources to meet the project schedule and budget.
• Work closely with stakeholders across business users, operations, IT, audit, legal, and compliance to ensure governance.
• Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and prioritization amongst all projects.
• Lead the team in change impact and adoption assessments to ensure post-implementation readiness.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies and implement mitigations.
• Inspire teams and foster a culture of collaborative delivery with internal and external partners.

This role partners closely with business and functional stakeholders. You'll lead cross-functional teams through change, manage risks and dependencies proactively. The ideal candidate brings deep IT project delivery experience with excellent buy-in skills to a wide range of stakeholders and is comfortable working in agile ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor the project scope and resources to meet the project schedule and budget.
  
• Work closely with various stakeholders, including business users, operations, IT, audit, legal, and compliance, to ensure effective project governance.
  
• Work with various business functions on project prioritization to optimize resource usage, with the responsibility of overseeing the overall budget management, resource allocation, and prioritization amongst all projects.
  
• Lead the project team in conducting comprehensive change impact and adoption assessments to ensure post-implementation business readiness.
  
• Proactively manage all potential risks, issues, and dependencies on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required.
  
• Inspire and motivate teams, creating a culture of collaborative delivery with teams internally and externally.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably with knowledge of business banking products and bank operations. Knowledge in data and digital banking will be an advantage.
  
• Communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
  
• Previous experience as a project manager in medium-to-large-scale projects.
  
• Ability to overcome challenges, create innovative solutions, and work in an agile environment.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and create connections with others.
  
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
  
• Experience working in a SAFe or agile environment, with experience working as a Scrum Master being a plus.
