Job summary

Base Camp Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact transformation initiatives within a leading financial banking environment in Hong Kong. You will drive end-to-end delivery across complex, cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The role requires 5–15 years of experience in project delivery, with governance, risk, and regulatory controls a focus.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in project/programme or transformation delivery.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within banking or financial services.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, milestones, resources, and governance.
• Drive execution across multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and remove delivery blockers.
• Lead RAID management covering risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Establish and manage Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches and release planning.
• Engage senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business, technology, operations, risk, and compliance teams.
• Ensure strong project governance, controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee testing, business readiness, go-live, and post-launch activities.
• Track project KPIs, delivery performance, and benefits realisation.

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Retail Banking / Wealth Management experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
