Job summary

CLPe, a subsidiary of CLP Holdings, is seeking an energetic engineering professional to join the Cooling Implementation Branch in Hong Kong. The role involves overseeing HVAC activities for new and retrofit chiller projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring timely, compliant delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in thermal management and MVAC systems, and are proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• A recognized University degree in Building Services Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in thermal management, MVAC systems, infrastructure replacement, operation and maintenance, as well as system configuration.
• Familiar with AutoCAD; MS Office and MS Project proficiency.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HVAC system activities for new chiller plant and retrofit projects, including site inspection, design, installation, testing and commissioning, service and maintenance works.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors to plan, schedule work activities and meet contract timeline and requirements.
• Prepare project schedule, budget, site progress report; monitor site work performance and supervision.
• Implement and monitor the SHEQ systems to ensure that the required standards are achieved.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Responsible for carrying out activities of HVAC systems for new chiller plant and retrofit projects, including but not limited to site inspection, engineering design, installation, testing and commissioning, service and maintenance works
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors to plan, schedule work activities and meet contract timeline and requirements
• Prepare project schedule, budget, site progress report. Monitor site work performance and supervision
• Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) systems to ensure that the required standards are achieved
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A recognized University degree in Building Services Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in thermal management, MVAC systems (including air side, water side and chiller/cooling tower plant) infrastructure replacement, operation, maintenance as well as system configuration
• Deep understanding of chiller plant cooling architectures, optimization, and thermal performance validation
• Shape the cooling strategy for next-generation AI and compute infrastructure would be an added advantage
• Possession of Construction Industry Safety Card
• Familiar with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferred
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
