Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Manager in Hong Kong to oversee large-scale cooling system construction projects and collaborate closely with property owners.

You will lead planning and execution, manage timelines and budgets, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with internal and external teams, and drive innovative district cooling solutions across projects in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• University degree in relevant Engineering disciplines.
• 15+ years of experience with 8+ years in management leading sizeable teams.
• Experience in large-scale new build construction, HVAC and central chiller plant projects in Hong Kong.
• Experience with district cooling projects and strong HVAC knowledge (air-side and water-side).
• Strong stakeholder management and safety culture with risk mitigation.

As a Senior HVAC Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the planning and execution of cooling system construction projects.
• Managing project timelines, budgets and resources effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during project implementation.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Overseeing contractor performance and resolving any issues that arise.
• Preparing detailed reports on project progress and outcomes.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project implementation.
• Driving innovation and efficiency in cooling system designs and installations.

Profile

• University degree in relevant Engineering disciplines.
• A minimum of 15 years' working experience and more than 8 years' managerial experience leading a sizeable team.
• Good track records in extensive large scale new build construction, HVAC and Central chiller plant implementation and project management experience in Hong Kong
• Experience in district cooling projects.
• Possession of strong technical expertise in HVAC air-side and water-side systems operation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders and foster collaboration while resolving conflicts within and across teams.
• Strong commitment to safety culture and risk mitigation. Possess sound knowledge of occupational safety requirements.
