Job summary

moomoo is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the design and evolution of our Securities Lending system. You will architect a scalable platform supporting full lifecycle operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and a seamless experience for business teams and clients.

You will own the product roadmap, collaborate with trading, risk, and settlement teams, and stay ahead of market developments to drive innovation in securities lending across major markets such as US and HK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in securities/financial industry.
• Deep understanding of securities lending mechanisms and trade lifecycles.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with ability to interpret regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Drive the product roadmap and system design for core securities lending modules (inventory, trade execution, contract lifecycle, interest/fee calculations).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the design and evolution of our Securities Lending system. You will be responsible for building a scalable, robust platform that supports the full lifecycle of securities lending operations, ensuring compliance with global market regulations and delivering a seamless experience for our business teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Drive the product roadmap and system design for core securities lending modules, including inventory management, trade execution, contract lifecycle management, and interest/fee calculations.
• Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with trading, clearing & settlement, and risk management teams to automate and streamline the end-to-end securities lending workflows.
• Market Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and market rules in major global markets (e.g., US, HK) to ensure system compliance and adaptability.
• Product Innovation: Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously enhance our securities lending capabilities and support business growth.

• Industry Experience: 5+ years of product management experience in the securities or financial industry. Prior experience in Securities Lending, Margin Trading, or related back-office systems is highly preferred.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of securities lending mechanisms, inventory borrowing/lending, and trade lifecycles in overseas markets (e.g., US, HK equities).
• Problem Solving: Exceptional logical thinking and system architecture skills, with the ability to abstract and model complex business scenarios.
• Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin. Ability to proficiently interpret complex international regulatory documents and communicate effectively with global teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Additional Preferences

• Familiarity with industry-leading securities lending platforms (e.g., EquiLend).
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM.
