Job summary

Unicorn Advisor (HK) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a senior Fintech Product Manager to drive innovation, optimization, and scaling of retail and institutional trading platforms within the SFC regulatory framework.

You will own product lifecycles from strategy to delivery, coordinating across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Engineering to ensure reliability, AML/KYC adherence, and data-driven improvements across equities, derivatives, options and wealth management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field as listed.
• Minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience in digital brokerage/fintech.
• Proven track record of launching scalable trading apps or core brokerage systems.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, clearing house operations, and global structures (HKEX, US Markets).
• Solid familiarity with Hong Kong SFC regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the product vision and roadmap for fintech trading platform.
• Design, build, and optimize trading lifecycles including OMS, EMS, real-time data streaming, margin trading, and settlement.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to ensure SFC compliance.
• Write PRDs and wireframes; lead agile engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams.
• Monitor metrics (acquisition, retention, AUM, trade velocity, latency) to drive optimizations.

My client is seeking a high-caliber Fintech Product Manager to drive the innovation, optimization, and scaling of our next-generation retail and institutional trading platforms. Operating within Hong Kong's robust regulatory environment under the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), you will play a pivotal role in bridging financial engineering, compliance, and cutting-edge internet product design.

You will own product feature lifecycles, ensuring a seamless, high-velocity trading experience (covering equities, derivatives, options, and wealth management products) while prioritizing system reliability and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Formulate and execute the product vision and roadmap for our fintech trading platform, aligning user-centric UX with brokerage business objectives.
• Core Trading Features: Design, build, and optimize trading lifecycles including Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), real-time market data streaming (Level 2), margin trading, and clearing/settlement processes.
• SFC Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk Management teams to ensure all product designs strictly adhere to SFC regulations (e.g., Code of Conduct, AML/KYC guidelines, algorithmic trading requirements, and client data protection).
• Cross-Functional Execution: Write comprehensive PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) and design system wireframes. Lead agile engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver flawless updates under tight sprint cycles.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor key platform metrics (user acquisition, retention, AUM, trade velocity, and latency) to continuously discover pain points and enhance the platform's conversion rate.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience within a digital brokerage or fintech platform
• Proven track record of launching scalable trading apps or core brokerage systems.
• Domain Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of financial markets, clearing house operations, and global market structures (HKEX, US Markets, Stock Connect).
• Solid familiarity with Hong Kong SFC regulatory compliance requirements for online account opening and electronic trading platforms.
• Soft Skills: Highly analytical, comfortable handling high-concurrency and data-heavy products. Exceptional bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin/Cantonese) to collaborate effectively with both engineering and compliance teams.
