Job summary

HK Express is seeking a seasoned General Manager, Procurement to lead the development and execution of procurement strategies, category management and supplier governance. You will drive value creation through strategic sourcing, negotiations and performance analytics, while aligning with Cathay Group frameworks.

You will partner with business units to balance operational needs with financial objectives, strengthen risk management and lead a high-performing procurement team in a dynamic airline

Qualifications

• At least 12-15+ years relevant procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain experience.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering significant cost savings and commercial value.
• Strong supplier relationship management and contract lifecycle experience.
• Ability to influence senior executives in a matrix organization.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HKE procurement and category management strategy aligned with fleet and network plans and budget priorities.
• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering, RFI/RFQ/RFP and major negotiations to optimize value, quality and service.
• Drive measurable value through cost reduction, analytics, benchmarking and governance.
• Strengthen supplier risk management, onboarding, performance reviews and contract compliance.
• Partner with Cathay Group procurement and business units to align strategies and operations.
• Build procurement capability and leadership within the team.
