Job summary

LGT Investment Management (Asia) Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a senior professional to oversee Development of PM systems, data integrity and platform-change initiatives for high‑value client mandates.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across PM, Risk, Compliance and IT to ensure accurate investment data, IPS maintenance and governance. Ideal candidates have 7–12 years in DPM or asset operations, strong Excel and data-analysis skills, and hands-on experience with Avaloq and Bloomberg

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, economics, business, information systems, engineering or a related discipline; equivalent relevant professional experience considered.
• CFA/CAIA/FRM or project-management qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Minimum 7–12 years of experience in DPM, asset management or related operations.
• Proven experience in operational processing, controls, reconciliations, exceptions and escalation.
• Hands-on PM systems experience including IPS maintenance, model portfolios and fund mandates.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; familiarity with Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA is advantageous.
• Avaloq and Bloomberg PORT experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operations and Fund Administration

Own daily implementation for PM funds and client mandates: trading, cash, rebalancing, lifecycle events, data checks, controls and exceptions.

Maintain model portfolios and Investment Policy Statements (IPS).

Provide cross-coverage for core processes during absences, peak workloads and operational incidents.

Complete workload planning, handovers, daily controls and issue resolution; escalat exceptions promptly.

Partner with Portfolio Management, Fund Management Companies, Risk, Compliance, Operations and IT.

Maintain procedures, runbooks, control evidence and knowledge-transfer materials.

Projects and Change Management

Lead and contribute to priority operating-model, workflow, data, control, reporting and platform initiatives.

Translate business needs into testable requirements, including impacts, dependencies, controls, acceptance criteria and readiness actions.

Independently manage assigned workstreams, plans, risks, decisions, stakeholder communications and escalations.

Identify and implement approved process simplification, control enhancements and automation opportunities.

Use Power BI, Python, SQL or comparable tools to improve analysis, monitoring, reporting and automation.

Build functional expertise in PM systems and tools, including Avaloq and Bloomberg PORT.

Development of PM Systems and Maintenance of data integrity

Maintain the quality of PM data, models, benchmarks, classifications, restrictions, IPS settings, reports and related configurations.

Actively improve PM systems and workflows such as in Avaloq, Bloomberg, and other relevant systems, including testing and documentation, in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Work within the DPM APAC operating model and SLA; uphold fiduciary duty, regulatory compliance, fair client treatment and operational prudence.

Requirements

University degree in finance, economics, business, information systems, engineering or a related discipline; equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered. CFA, CAIA, FRM, project-management or relevant systems/data qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Minimum 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in DPM, asset management, PM implementation, fund operations, investment operations, investment-platform change or a related environment.

Proven experience in operational processing, controls, reconciliations, exception management and escalation.

Hands-on experience with PM systems, portfolio restrictions, IPS maintenance, model portfolios, PM funds/client mandates, investment data and reporting.

Avaloq, Bloomberg PORT experience strongly preferred.

Experience in UAT, test evidence, defect management, business sign-off, post-release validation and operational readiness.

Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA or comparable automation skills advantageous.

Proactive, entrepreneur and accountable, with sound judgement and end-to-end ownership.

Able to prioritize time sensitive operations with complex change delivery while maintaining accuracy and control discipline.
