Job summary

Elee Consulting Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for a 12-month contract to design and evolve the pension platform's architecture, covering software components, data models, integrations, infrastructure, and security.

You will partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and domain experts to translate objectives into capability maps and prioritized roadmaps, aligning with regulatory requirements and high-volume transaction needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS/Engineering.
8+ years IT experience with at least 4 years in solution/enterprise architecture.
Proven track record architecting scalable, high-availability systems.
Experience with regulatory compliance and pension/finance domains.
Fluent English and Cantonese; Putonghua a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of architectures for pension platform (software, data, integrations, infra, security).
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into capability maps and roadmaps.
Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and guardrails.
Identify and mitigate technical and business debt with ROI-based plans.
Drive modern patterns: microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), event-driven systems (Kafka), API-driven development.
Research and prototype emerging technologies to boost resilience and scalability.
Serve as technical escalation point for complex challenges and reviews.
Govern projects with Agile/DevOps, CI, TDD, and vendor integrations.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data privacy (PDPO), and disaster recovery.
Mentor junior architects and development teams.
