Job summary

Tokalent is seeking a Senior Operations Officer for VATP to oversee daily settlement operations and custody of crypto assets, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance. You will collaborate with product, tech and business teams to align plans and priorities.

The role covers daily exchange operations, trade execution, customer support, platform management and risk mitigation, plus preparing reports and performing ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business Administration or Economics.
• Experience in banking, Big 4, fund houses, or crypto exchanges preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin ideal).

About the job Senior Operations Officer - VATP

Responsibilities

• Perform daily settlement operation;
• Manage custody and operations of crypto assets
• Ensure smooth running of daily operations and comply with established policies and procedures;
• Work with internal teams (e.g. product, tech, business etc) to align plans and priorities
• Develop and implement streamlined operational processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and an exceptional user experience;
• Work with Operations Director for daily operations of our cryptocurrency exchange, including trade execution, customer support, platform management, and risk mitigation;
• Perform portfolio reconciliation includes daily and monthly reconciliations across front, middle and back-office systems. Identify and escal ate breaks, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare daily/periodic reports and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in banks, Big 4 accounting firms, fund houses, or cryptocurrency exchanges are preferred
• Good understanding of financial or cryptocurrency trading business;
• Fluency in English and Chinese, ideally both Cantonese and Mandarin
• Passion for the cryptocurrency industry and a commitment to contributing to its growth and success.
