Job summary

Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited is seeking an experienced professional in Hong Kong to lead and manage operational and reputation risk across the bank. You will implement risk management frameworks, review policies, and oversee KRI/RCSA processes while coordinating with audits and regulators.

The role requires strong communication skills in English and Chinese, with Mandarin preferred, and a track record in banking risk management. This is a full-time position based in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in operational risk management, audit or internal controls in banking.
• Well-versed in HKMA, SFC and other banking legislations and guidelines.
• Experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
• Strong prioritization, organization and people skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement operational risk management frameworks and plans.
• Review and update operational risk and reputation risk related policies and procedures manuals.
• Review on KRI and RCSA from all departments and make recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee operational risk reporting system, review operational risk incidents and make recommendations to mitigate the risks involved.
• Review and advice on due diligences of new products development and outsourcing arrangements from operational risk and reputation risk perspectives.
• Implement stress testing on operational risk and reputation risk.
• Prepare statutory and management reporting.
• Handle inquires and liaise with internal/external audits, regulatory bodies on the related areas.
• Steer for relevant projects, ad hoc issues or investigations in relation to operational or reputation risks when required.
