Job summary

Crease Group in Hong Kong seeks a senior client-facing merchandiser to own accounts end to end from brief to goods. You will manage programs with design, Guangzhou supply chain, QC, and global sales teams, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. Travel to Guangzhou and mainland China is expected.

You will drive costing, quoting, sample approvals and growth of key accounts across premium and enterprise brands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in apparel merchandising or account management.
• Proven experience owning client accounts directly.
• Strong knowledge of cut-and-sew garments, fabrics, trims and construction.
• Hands-on costing experience and a commercial mindset.
• Fluent English and Mandarin (Cantonese a plus).
• Willing to travel regularly to Guangzhou and mainland China.
• Experience with activewear, lifestyle or premium basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts end to end, owning relationships and outcomes.
• Full program management from development through sampling, bulk production and shipment.
• Costing and quoting with clear margin discipline.
• Tech pack review, fit comments and sample approvals with design and QC.
• Critical paths and WIP: on-time delivery and full visibility at each stage.
• Coordinate with supply chain on capacity, materials and lead times.
• Escalate production or quality issues with data and a recovery plan.
• Grow accounts through new categories, repeats and larger orders.
• Host client visits to showroom and factories in Greater China.

The role

This is a senior, client-facing seat. You will own a book of client accounts end to end, from first brief to delivered goods. You are the client's main point of contact and you run your own merchandising. No hand-offs: you hold the relationship, the programs and the results.

You will work with our design team, our Guangzhou supply chain and QC teams, and our global sales team.

What you'll own

• A portfolio of client accounts: relationship, communication, growth and retention
• Full program management from development through sampling, costing, bulk production and shipment
• Costing and quoting with clear margin discipline
• Tech pack review, fit comments and sample approvals with design and QC
• Critical paths and WIP: on-time delivery, quality and full visibility at every stage
• Factory coordination with our supply chain team on capacity, materials and lead times
• Early escalation of production or quality issues to clients, with data and a clear recovery plan
• Growing your accounts through new categories, repeat programs and larger orders
• Hosting client visits to our showroom and factories in Greater China

What you bring

• 8+ years in apparel merchandising or account management at a brand, sourcing office or trading company
• Proven experience owning client accounts directly, not just supporting them
• Strong knowledge of cut-and-sew garments, fabrics, trims and construction
• Hands-on costing experience and a commercial mindset
• Fluent English and Mandarin (Cantonese a plus)
• Comfortable with Western premium and enterprise brands and their standards
• Organized, proactive and calm under pressure, with high ownership of outcomes
• Willing to travel regularly to our Guangzhou office and to factories across mainland China
• Activewear, lifestyle or premium basics experience is a strong plus
