Job summary

Klook is seeking a hands-on Treasury Operations & System Innovation lead in Hong Kong to own the day-to-day infrastructure, automate processes, and enhance forecasting accuracy. You will gain exposure to Capital Markets and Financing while building a path to strategic financing leadership.

The role emphasizes TMS optimization, AI/data-driven cash flow forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with the Treasury Head and banking partners, requiring 8–12 years of corporate treasury experience

Job Summary

You will join the Treasury team and take ownership of Treasury Operations & System Innovation - driving the day-to-day infrastructure, digitalization, and forecasting capability that underpins the company's liquidity management. You will also build exposure to Capital Markets & Financing activity, with scope to grow into this area as you establish yourself. This position suits a hands-on operator who wants to deepen into strategic financing work over time, not someone looking for a pure execution or a pure strategy-only role from day one.

What You'll Do

Treasury Operations & System Innovation

• Digitalization & Automation: Own the continuous optimization of the Treasury Management System (TMS) and drive broader treasury process automation to minimize manual workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Next-Gen Forecasting: Drive the adoption of AI/Data-driven techniques to significantly enhance Cash Flow Forecasting accuracy.
• Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day cash and bank account operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control across the team's execution.

Team Management & Collaboration

• Operational Leadership: Assist the Treasury Head in managing daily team operations and task allocation to improve overall execution efficiency.
• Strategic Representation: Represent the Treasury function in cross-departmental meetings and decision-making processes when required.

Capital Markets & Financing

• Financing Support: Support syndicated loan execution and other debt instrument processes.
• Covenant Monitoring: Assist in monitoring Financial Covenants and maintaining banking syndicate relationships, with growing ownership as capability is demonstrated.

What You Need

Experience: 8-12 years of Corporate Treasury experience, with solid depth in treasury operations (TMS, process automation, cash management, forecasting).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.

Technical Expertise

• Required: Demonstrated ownership of TMS implementation/optimization and treasury process automation projects. Strong cash flow forecasting experience, ideally with exposure to AI/data-driven tools.
• Strongly preferred: Some exposure to syndicated loan execution or bank facility management - even as a supporting or secondary responsibility at your current organization.

Soft Skills

• Professional Maturity & Judgment: Highly independent with sound decision-making skills; capable of exercising professional judgment in complex situations with minimal supervision.
• "Hands-on" Approach: A proactive professional who can navigate complex projects and detailed execution simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex treasury concepts to internal stakeholders and engage constructively with external banking partners.
• Growth Orientation: Genuine interest in broadening from operations into financing strategy over time.

Language: Strong English and Mandarin communication skills (Cantonese proficiency is a plus).

Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools or AI applications is advantageous.
